Objective: Learn how to draw and identify points, lines, rays, and angles.
Materials: (Per 2 Students)
15 toothpicks
1 bottle of glue
1 construction paper
1 marker
9 small sticky tabs
Lesson Discussion:
Explain the properties of a point, a line, a line segment, a ray, and an angle to
students.
Teach students how to identify and distinguish parallel, intersecting, and
perpendicular lines.
Teach students how to identify different kinds of angles such as acute, obtuse,
right, and straight angles.
Procedure:
Step 1: Distribute the materials to each student.
Step 2: Instruct the students to draw a three-by-three grid on their construction paper (as
large as possible).
